About Project
With one in ten traffic deaths in Texas caused by distracted driving— that sobering stat sparked the launch of Bones, a bold, multi-year awareness campaign designed to jolt drivers out of their digital daze. W1 created a tragically funny skeleton character to personify the consequences of phone use behind the wheel.
Bones speaks to all Texans—ageless, raceless, everywhere. Through emotionally charged storytelling, dark humor, and high-impact creative across digital, social, radio, and outdoor, the campaign hit drivers where it counts: in their habits, routines, and sense of consequence.
